Testing the lens                                                 

Rockport Harbor, Massachusetts, with it's quaint Bear Skin Neck pier full of artist shops and restaurants is a great place to photograph. When I purchased my new Nikon 24-120 VR lens, (read my rational for buying yet another lens in In My Bag link), I drove up to Rockport to test out the lens. The photos in this were all shot at f8, ISO 200 with VR off. Other then cropping, photos where not altered. I tested the lens more extensivley otherwise, and included VR vs NO VR sample photos and reported my conclusions in In My Bag.
